In the conventional apparel industry, a large amount of water is used in processes such as steaming and washing when dyeing fabrics, and water pollution caused by this wastewater has become a global problem. In addition, mass disposal due to excess inventory is also attracting attention, and a quick solution is required.
In order to contribute to these issues, Kyocera has developed a product with the following three features by combining inkjet technology with Kyocera Document Solutions’ ink and equipment development technology.
(1) Water Free Concept: Fabric printing that uses as little water as possible
(2) Creative Free: Using our proprietary pigment ink, we achieved both a soft texture and high durability. Full color printing can be applied to various fabrics.
(3) Location Free: Printing is possible without relying on water resources, so production can be done in an appropriate region and according to demand regardless of the installation location, contributing to a reduction in logistics costs and inventories.
